The Ibex Project Performance Coaching Program is for athletes who want to take their training to the next level and dial in to the nuances of their own body. If you have nagging issues or impactful injuries, this program is for you. 

We work with our mountain athletes from across North America through virtual one-on-one sessions as part of our performance coaching program.

Aside from our initial discovery call, we will virtually meet a minimum of once a month to review how your program is going and make tweaks as necessary to ensure that we are on the best path to meeting your goals. Location is not a hindrance.

How we work with our mountain athletes

1. Get to Know You

We will jump on a video call to get to know you better and understand your performance and event goals, health status, history, movement needs, as well as your day-to-day lifestyle.

2. Build a Plan

Once we know you as an athlete, we will customize a sport(s)-specific plan just for you and share it with you on TrueCoach. It will include testing, stretching, mobility work, strength work, endurance training and more.

3. Check-in Regularly

We will reconnect once a month to get a better understanding of your progress and modify your plan as needed. Performance evaluations will be key in making sure you are on your way to meeting your goals.

4. Injury Management

We will work with you to make sure that we are improving your chances of avoiding injury and if an injury happens, we will manage it and adjust your plan as needed so that you can continue to move forward.

As a physiotherapist and strength coach, Don brings a unique perspective to the table with more than a decade of helping athletes bridge the gap from rehab to peak performance.
